Department of Physical Education

The department has all the facilities to promote sports and games among the students. The total area of play ground is more than 5 acres. State level and district level tournaments periodically held in the campus.

Programmes

Intramural

• Encourages all the students to take part at various events providing all necessary playing equipments.
• Conducting the intramural competitions and college annual sports meet are the regular features of the house.
• Staff tournament are conducted regularly in outdoor games, indoor games and athletics.

Extramural

• All the men and women teams are encouraged to take part in Anna University inter collegiate tournaments.
• Our students are consistently winning the medals in intercollegiate Athletic meet.
• Our students Participated in Erode district level first Division match.
• Our Cricket Team have won the VIT Rivera Trophy and Received Trophy with a cash award of Rs.20,000 from the Indian Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin.
• Our College Table Tennis (Women’s) Team Got Bronze Medal in Anna University Zonal match.
• Our College Cricket Team Secured Bronze Medal in Anna University Tournament Held at KSRCT.
